Make A Homemade Outdoor Aluminum Cleaner

Aluminum window and door frames are fairly low maintenance but occasionally they get grimy and need a good cleaning. A homemade all-natural cleaning solution will restore the shine to aluminum in no time. You can make it from items you likely already have on hand and you won't have to worry about detergents or other chemicals running off your house and into the ground. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Slice several lemons into four quarters to create wedges that are easy to manage.

2. Pour four cups water and one cup vinegar into a spray bottle.

3. Place the lid on the spray bottle tightly and shake to mix the water and vinegar.

4. Rub the lemon wedges on the aluminum. Focus on dark stains in particular.

5. Rinse the lemon juice off with the vinegar solution. The result will be clean, stain-free aluminum that sparkles and smells wonderful. The vinegar and water solution is also great for cleaning glass.
