Make A Barbie Doll Carrying Case

You can turn an old briefcase or laptop carrying case into an inexpensive Barbie doll carrying case. If the handle isn’t broken and it still shuts, you can decorate it or let a little girl turn it into a hit with any Barbie doll enthusiast.

Instructions

1. Clean up the old laptop case or briefcase. Be sure it is empty, and wipe it down inside and out. Use plain water or a mild detergent but be sure to remove any leftover residue.

2. Decorate the toilet paper rolls. Use markers or sponge paints or cover them with material. Allow drying if needed and place them inside of the case.

3. Attach the toilet paper rolls to the inner bottom of the case near the lower portion, leaving approximately 5 inches from the bottom of the case to the bottom of the rolls. If using a case with a soft inner lining found in many laptop cases, a push pin can be used to attach the rolls. Just make sure it doesn’t protrude through the rear so the child won’t be stuck. The rolls can also be attached using glue.

4. Attach a string or a piece of yarn across from one end of the top of the case, using glue to the other to hang clothes on.

5. Place the Barbie doll into the decorated toilet roll, feet first and carefully. The doll will fit snugly and be ready to ride. Hang clothes on Barbie doll hangers or fold over the string or yarn. Place accessories such as shoes, purses and brushes into pockets already on the case.
