Get Into A Key Safe

It is always a good idea to have a spare key somewhere on the outside of your home just in case you or your family locks themselves outside. However, leaving a key on the outside also leaves you susceptible to robberies if someone can find the key. This is where a key safe comes into play. A key safe is a lockable device that holds your key. A combination is required to open the compartment that holds the key. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Spin the dials on the the key safe to clear out the combination. The spin dial lock on the key safe works the same as a dial lock on a briefcase, suitcase or bike lock.

2. Turn the first spin dial until the first number on the combination appears. Make sure the number is fully displayed. If part of it is covered, the lock may not register it and the key safe compartment may not open.

3. Repeat the process with the remainder of the spin dials in the lock, making sure all of the numbers are fully exposed.

4. Open up the compartment that holds the key. If the compartment does not open, the combination has not been entered correctly.

5. Use the key and return it to the key safe. Close the compartment and spin the dials to clear the combination and lock the safe back up.
