Reset Halliburton Combination Locks

Halliburton combination locks, or Zero Halliburton locks if you use the company's full name, are often used in attache cases and briefcases. The method for resetting these locks is fortunately very simple, but it does require you to have access to the interior of the case. If you forget the combination or you can't open up the case for some reason then you need to figure out do so before changing the combination.

Instructions

1. Open the case. You need to have the case open with the lock exposed in order to actually reset the combination.

2. Press the open switch on the case and hold it there, even though the case is already open. Reach inside the case and press the small button behind the combination. This will open up the mechanism so that you can reset the numbers.

3. Turn the combination to the new pass code that you want. Release the buttons and close the case. This should set your new combination, but you should try to open the lock with the new combination just to be sure.
