The object of Deal or No Deal is to win as much money as possible through a game of chance.
Deal or No Deal is a popular TV game show hosted by Howie Mandel, which is broadcast on NBC. On the show, a player can select a briefcase and either keep that case or make an offer with the bank in exchange for the case, which has an unknown cash value. The cases range in value from $.01 to $1 million.
Deal or No Deal Online Game
The Deal or No Deal online game is available to play at the NBC website at no charge. The game is arranged very similarly to the show. You pick a briefcase that will be your briefcase using your mouse. Then, in the second round, you choose six cases. After the total of those six cases is calculated, you will receive an offer from the bank, which you can accept or decline. If you make the deal, you can continue to play to see if you made the best deal. If you said "no deal," you can continue to play for a better deal.
Deal or No Deal App
The Deal or No Deal: Million Dollar Mission for iPhone and iPod Touch is an app based on the TV show. The game is played just like the online version. The app allows you to play wherever you can bring your iPod or iPod Touch, which can really pass the time on the subway or in a doctor's office. The app is free to download and can be found on your iPod Touch or iPhone in the Apps Store or on iTunes in the games category.
Deal or No Deal Board Game
The Deal or No Deal board game follows the same set of rules, with cards representing cases. Unlike the online and app versions which can be played with only one person, the board game must be played with at least two players, but can accommodate up to six. When playing, you can seek advice from your friends and family about whether or not to take the deal. The game is recommended for ages 10 and up. The board game can be purchased online, at the NBC Universal Store or at retail stores.
