The game show Deal or No Deal is hosted by comedian Howie Mandel and currently runs on NBC. This show allows contestants to choose numbered briefcases in order to determine the size of the prizes that they win. Viewers at home who are interested in Deal or No Deal can learn play the game online.
Instructions
1. Bookmark the Deal or No Deal online game page at NBC's website (see Resources below). Users who save the website on their computers can access it with a click of the button.
2. Select 1 of the numbered cases to begin the online version of Deal or No Deal. There are 26 cases to choose from and each has a hidden dollar value from $0.01 to $1,000,000. This initial case does not come into play until the end of the game.
3. Proceed to select 6 additional cases in order to get through the first round of Deal or No Deal. Users select cases, which are then opened to reveal the dollar amount that the case represented. The amount of each eliminated case is removed from the money list.
4. Wait for the online game to calculate a cash offer from the banker. On the television and online version of the show, the banker is a mysterious figure who tries to offer contestants money to leave the game. The cash offer is calculated based on an average of the remaining money amounts and the odds of winning large cash rewards.
5. Decide whether you want to take the banker's deal or continue playing the game. Users who click "Deal" will not be able to proceed to pick additional cases. A click of the "No Deal" button allows users to select an additional 5 cases before receiving another offer.
6. Change up your online experience with Deal or No Deal's Online Skills Challenge. This game combines the chance involved in the regular game with the challenge of selecting cases within a certain time limit.
