Access your valuables without a key.
The Sentry Safe 1100 series is a fire-resistant and compact safe for storing precious, small, accessible valuables. The Sentry 1100 comes with a key lock that secures the lid to the case. In the event of a fire the lid will seal itself shut, protecting your valuables. The key lock only secures the lid shut and isn’t meant to protect against theft. This means, if you lose your keys, you can quite easily open the safe with a few tools. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Place the safe on a flat surface. Be careful--although the safe is small, it does have some weight to it.
2. Insert one end of the straightened paper clip into the upper part of the key hole. Place one part of the tweezers in the bottom portion of the key hole, right under the paper clip.
3. Jiggle the tweezers and paper clip in the key hole until you reach the internal chamber. The tools will slide further into the lock once you reach the internal chamber.
4. Turn both tools counterclockwise until the lock opens. You may have to use some force to unlock the safe.
5. Insert the tip of the screwdriver in the key hole, if the paper clip and tweezers didn’t work. Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise. You may have to use a little bit of force to unlock the safe.
