Remove Ink From A Light Tan Coach Purse

It doesn't have to be difficult to get stains off of a light tan Coach handbag.

Coach bags are expensive. They can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars. If you have a Coach handbag, you know how important it is to take care of it. But handbags get dirty, especially if you take yours everywhere. It may feel like the end of the world if you get ink on your handbag. With Coach's product care line, though, you can get rid of that ink stain easily. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Determine if your light tan Coach purse is leather or fabric. Some light tan fabric purses have leather detailing. In that case, determine where the stain is. If it's on the fabric, you will need to use Coach fabric cleaner, and if if it's on the leather, you will need Coach leather cleaner. You can find these cleaners at the Coach website, under product care.

2. Apply a dime-size amount of the cleaner to a damp cloth. Rub it on the stain in a gentle, circular motion.

See if the ink comes out. Reapply if needed.

3. Wipe the area with a clean damp cloth when you are finished. If you have a leather handbag, you will need to use the leather moisturizer 30 minutes later. This restores the leather's luster.

4. Use the Coach suede kit if you have a suede bag. It has a pink and gray cleaning bar and a brush. The pink side is for light stains, while the gray side is for deep stains. Use the brush to restore the texture of the bag.

5. Call the store where you bought your light tan Coach purse if the stain doesn't come out. Coach personnel at the store may give you additional cleaning tips.
