Triple combination lock
Samsonite has a reputation for providing tough luggage and briefcases that can stand wear and tear. Some Samsonite briefcases include a three-digit combination lock. If you've lost the combination to your briefcase, you can attempt to recover it by trial and error. If you don't have much patience, you may need to seek additional help.
Instructions
1. Set the briefcase upright, on its bottom, so that the combination lock digits face upward toward you. Set all three digits on the lock to zero. Attempt to open the briefcase.
2. Slide the third wheel to 1, making the combination 001. Attempt to open the briefcase. If it does not open, slide the third wheel to 2, making the combination 002. Attempt to open the briefcase. Repeat, increasing the combination number by one each time until you can open the briefcase.
3. Contact Samsonite or a locksmith for assistance, if your briefcase lock has more than three wheels.
