Care For Leather Briefcases

A leather briefcase is difficult to care for.


A leather briefcase is a staple for businesspeople in all different kinds of industries and companies. However, a leather briefcase is much more expensive than other options and it is tougher to care for properly. Caring for your leather briefcase improperly is likely to lead to damage. Instructions


1. Apply a leather conditioning product to a soft cloth.


2. Rub the cloth gently over your leather briefcase. Use a separate cloth to remove excess product. Repeat this process every six months.


3. Run a soft cloth under water and then wring it out so little moisture is left.


4. Wipe down the inside of your leather briefcase to remove excess debris and dirt that has formed. Do this once a month.


5. Add plenty of crumpled newspaper to the inside of a saturated leather briefcase. Leave the briefcase open to dry.


6. Use a soft cloth to remove small amounts of moisture as soon as they occur. Use a dabbing motion, rather than a rubbing motion.


7. Keep your leather briefcase inside a closet, away from sunlight.
