Personalized Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Gift your teacher with a thoughtful and customized present.

You need not buy your teacher an impersonal gift for a holiday or the end of the school year. Personalize your gift and turn an average present into something a little more special. A monogram livens up just about anything and your teacher will love the thoughtfulness that went into your present.

Bags and Leather

Have a tote bag or lunch sack personalized. Consider a monogrammed leather briefcase or leather portfolio with your teacher's name on it would be a stylish gift. Other options include a nice leather notepad or MP3 player case.

Frames

Personalize a photo frame made of glass, crystal, wood or plastic. Take a crystal or glass photo frame to an engraver to have it professionally monogrammed, or take a plain wooden or plastic frame you can purchase from a craft store and embellish it yourself with foam or wood letters or stickers. Or you could paint it. Include the teacher's name and the year, and don't forget to place a photo of the class inside the frame.

T-Shirt

Every teacher is proud to proclaim their occupation. Purchase a T-shirt already made and have it personalized or make one yourself with the help of your child. The front can say something like "World's Best Teacher" and put the teacher's name and class year on the back. Make it even more special by passing the shirt and a fabric marker around, and have each class member sign it and write a message to their teacher before presenting the gift.

Painted Items

Enlist the help of your child to make his teacher an extra sweet gift by helping him paint a ceramic item such as a plate or coffee mug. Put the child's handprints on the plate or mug, sign their name and the school year. Other ideas for painted ceramic items are jewelry boxes, picture frames, tea pots and cookie jars.
