How Open A Small Presto Key Lock

Since 1882, CCL Security Products, formerly Corbin Cabinet Lock, has designed, manufactured and supplied to people all over the world a wide variety of combination and key-access locks for use at home, at the office or during travel. A Prestolock Keyed Mini Luggage Lock, also known as the small Presto key lock, is a simple, standard non-combination lock typically used to secure valuables in briefcases, carry-on bags and larger pieces of luggage. Unless you've lost your main and spare keys, opening your small Presto key lock requires little effort beyond using your key.

Instructions

1. Grasp the small Presto key lock by its body in your non-dominant hand.

2. Pick up your key in your dominant hand and insert it into the keyhole on the bottom or side of your lock.

3. Turn the key until the shackle pops up slightly from the lock body, indicating that you've unlocked the lock.

4. Pull down on the lock body to separate the end of the shackle from the hole in the lock body. If done correctly, you have opened the lock and can slide the shackle from the hole or loop that it runs through to remove the lock from your bag or luggage.
