The safety of a combination lock
When you are about to pack for a trip, one of your first steps is to open your favorite suitcase. Many Samsonite bags offer the safety feature of a combination lock. If it's been awhile since you've opened the lock on your luggage or if you are opening the combination lock on a new piece of Samsonite luggage, you may not know open it. You can achieve this with the combination and a few simple steps.
Instructions
1. Set the Samsonite suitcase on a flat surface in a well-lit area. The combination lock on your suitcase is on the top of the case.
2. Rotate the first dial on the Samsonite suitcase until it matches the first digit in the combination. Line up the first digit in the combination with the notched line on the luggage bag.
3. Turn the dials on the rest of the combination lock to match the remainder of the Samsonite suitcase combination. Make sure all the numbers in the combination are in a straight line even with the notched line on the bag.
4. Push open the latches to the Samsonite suitcase. Place your left thumb on the latch on the left side of the combination lock; place your right thumb on the latch on the right side of the lock. Push the left notch to the left while pushing the right notch to the right. The luggage opens.
