Auto Sync

Automatically sync your files with a digital briefcase on a USB drive.

Automatically syncing your documents is the sole function of Briefcase, a syncing program that is built into Microsoft Windows. Keeping your files in sync between computers allows you to work on either computer whenever you want, without having to worry about which computer has the most up-to-date version of the important file you need to work on.

Instructions

1. Right-click on your desktop or in any other folder and click "New" and "Briefcase."

2. Copy the files you want to sync and paste them into the briefcase.

3. Insert the USB drive and copy the new briefcase over to the drive.

4. Remove the drive and insert it into the second computer. You can now make any edits to your documents. Just be sure to save the files back to the USB drive when you are done.

5. Remove the USB drive and insert it back into the first computer.

6. Right-click on the briefcase on your USB drive and select "Update All." Your files will then be automatically synced between the two briefcases.
