Change A Suitcase Lock'S Combination

Change your suitcase combination.

Suitcases store valuable information for personal or professional use. Many professionals, such as attorneys, live by their briefcases. In the disastrous event of losing your briefcase, you will want the lock to be a combination that did not come as the factory standard. This will optimize your chances of keeping your valuable information safe. You can change the combination on your suitcase with ease by following a simple procedure.

Instructions

1. Open the suitcase. Use the factory default combination to open the briefcase. You can find this in the paperwork that accompanied your suitcase.

2. Press the reset switch. Generally, you can find this switch inside of the briefcase next to the lock.

3. Enter in a new combination. Avoid simple combination such as "3-3-3." Press the reset button and keep it held down until you place the numbers into the position for your new combination. Release the reset button.

4. Scramble the numbers around. Enter the new code you created. The lock will open. If the lock fails to open, press the reset button down and remember to keep it depressed the whole time you enter in the new combination. Repeat this until the lock opens with your new combination.
