Clean Mildew On A Leather Jacket

Mildew is just about the last substance anyone wants to find on his leather jacket. Mildew is powdery substance that thrives in dark, damp areas. If the climate is suitable, the surface doesn't really matter. A little mildew is nothing to worry about. It's unsightly and potentially unhealthy, but it's simple to eliminate. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions


1. Take the jacket outside and brush away as much of the mildew as possible with a clean cloth or soft bristle brush.


2. Place the jacket on a flat surface with the mildewed area facing up toward you.


3. Mix equal parts isopropyl alcohol and clean water.


4. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and wring it out well.


5. Wipe the area with the cloth to remove the residual mildew.


6. Allow the jacket to air dry in a cool, dry place.
