Finding the combination to your padlock is easier than it appears.
Cole combination padlocks are convenient because you don't have to depend on a small, easily losable key to work your padlock. On the other hand, if you ever forget your combination, it may seem like your only recourse is to cut your lock off with a pair of bolt cutters. Still, there is a trick for finding the combination on the vast majority of combination padlocks, including the Cole brand. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Pull the clamp up as far as it goes, then hold it there until you have all three numbers of your combination.
2. Turn the dial to the right until it clicks, then move the dial to the right two more numbers. That's the first number of your combination.
3. Turn the dial to the left until it stops. This will be the second number of your combination.
4. Turn the dial to the right until it pops open. The number on which it pops open is the final number of your combination.
