Wash Your Crumpler Bag Without Losing Its Color

A popular Crumpler style is the messenger bag.

The Crumpler bag is the brainchild of a young Australian who, in 1992, wanted to make a bag strong enough to carry a case of beer on his bike. His durable bags are now sold throughout the world, and come in a variety of styles, including laptop, messenger and travel bags. Each Crumpler comes with a lifetime warranty for free repairs if your bag rips, tears, etc., as a result of defective materials or poor workmanship, under normal use. Your bag may be durable but its protective coating cannot withstand washing in a washing machine. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Squirt a few drops of mild soap onto a cloth dampened with lukewarm water.

2. Spot-clean any exterior stains on the bag.

3. Wipe over the stained areas again, this time with a clean damp cloth, to remove any soap residue.

4. Wipe your entire bag gently with a damp cloth, if it's heavily soiled.

5. Let your bag dry in the shade, to prevent discoloration.
