Use Amazon'S Kindle

Kindle is a unique new product sold exclusively by Amazon.com. The light-weight, hand-held reader stores over 200 titles and lets you read for over a week on one battery charge. For someone who travels frequently, it eliminates carrying a pile of books, newspapers and other reading material.

Instructions

1. Purchase books for your Kindle. Kindle users can purchase over 90,000 titles from Amazon.com to read on the device. The books cost less than a traditional hardcover novel and are instantly downloaded (within 1 minute) to the device. You don't have to have access to a computer; you can purchase the titles directly from Kindle.

2. Sample books for free. Amazon allows Kindle users to read samples of books before purchasing, similar to browsing in a bookstore.

3. Read top U.S. and international newspapers. Subscriptions to dozens of U.S. and international newspapers are available via Kindle. The editions are delivered automatically to the device. Each subscription includes a free two-week trial period so you can sample the paper.

4. Access Wikipedia for free. Kindle includes free access to Wikipedia, the user-generated online encyclopedia. Kindle also has a built-in dictionary, so you can look up words as you read.

5. Email Word documents and images to your Kindle. Lighten your briefcase by emailing documents and storing them directly in your Kindle. You can also email images to the device.

6. Recharge the batteries periodically. Kindle is designed to let you read for up to one week before having to recharge its battery. Kindle's battery recharges in 2 hours.
