Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Tell If It's a Fake

1. Ask for the authentication card. The authentication card comes sealed in a small black envelope and the number on it matches the number inside the bag.

2. Smell the product to see if it smells like real leather. There should be no traces of a chemical scent

3. Follow the piping and lining with your finger and check to see if there are any flaws; if the lining is made of high quality materials such as leather or velvet, if it is evenly sewed and make sure the Prada logo is featured repeatedly, evenly and straight across the lining. Prada piping will be attached when the ends meet

4. Take a good look at the hardware. All Prada products will have brass hardware or have a silver, gold or rose tone and never a combination. The hardware should be sturdy and high quality. Feel and look at the handles and straps. There should be no frays or flaws. Hardware includes zippers, handles, straps, clasps, closures, buckles and chains.

5. Examine the stitching to make sure it is all even, that it is not made of nylon thread, is not obvious or large and is sturdy.

6. Examine the logo closely. The R's right leg should have a curve to it and never be straight. The background of the logo should be the same color as the product. It will always say Prada Milano made in Italy or Prada made in Italy. Some newer products have the logo embossed on a leather patch.
