Care For A Leather Coach Purse

Care for your leather Coach purse.


While it boasts of an extensive line of clothing, jewelery, shoes and accessories, Coach is known around the world for its purses. A Coach bag, constructed of durable and stylish leather, has its place in the collection and on the shoulder of many a purse fan. For a leather Coach purse to remain in excellent condition, devote a little time to its care. Failure to do so may result in the loss of several hundreds of dollars---and a great bag. Instructions


1. Empty your leather Coach purse. Vacuum the interior with an upholstery attachment, or use a lint roller to remove debris.


2. Clean your leather Coach purse. Apply a leather cleaner to a lint-free cloth. Wipe the purse with the cloth using a circular motion if using a Coach brand cleaner, or according to the directions on the cleaner's packaging. Allow the bag to dry away from direct sources of heat and light.


3. Condition your leather Coach purse. A leather conditioner will restore moisture and shine to the leather. Apply a small quantity of leather conditioner to a lint-free cloth. Wipe the purse with the cloth using a circular motion if using a Coach brand conditioner, or according to the directions on the conditioner's packaging. Use a new cloth to remove excess conditioner and to buff the leather.


4. Store your leather Coach purse when not in use. Stuff the purse with newspapers or tissue paper to keep its shape. Place the purse into a cotton dust bag or pillowcase. Set the bag on a storage shelf in a well-ventilated area away from heat and light.
