Final Fantasy VII for the Sony PlayStation is a role-playing game containing nine playable characters. Of these nine, two are hidden and must be discovered to join your party. The hidden character Vincent is locked away in the basement of Shinra mansion in Nibleheim. To find the key, you must open the iron safe on the top of Shinra mansion. A paper discarded on the southwest corner of the first floor will give you hints on find the code for the safe. Once you find the numbers and open the safe, you will obtain the key to find Vincent.
Instructions
1. Look behind the treasure chest in the upstairs greenhouse. This is the "box with the most oxygen" described in the first hint. You will find the code Right 36.
2. Examine the floor around the piano in the music room. The piano is described in the second hint, "Ivory's short of tea and ray." You will find the code Left 10.
3. Walk five steps left, nine steps up, two steps left and six steps up from the creaky floorboard. The floorboard is in the upstairs bedroom near the empty chair. When you search that spot, you will find the third number, Right 59.
4. Move your cursor to the bottom of the discarded hint paper to find the final combination number. "Right 97" will be written in invisible ink.
5. Return to the iron safe on the top floor of the mansion and enter the combination: Right 36, Left 10, Right 59 and Right 97. Like a real combination lock, you must stop the dial exactly on the numbers without going beyond any number. You will only have 20 seconds to enter the combination correctly.
