Instructions For Charleston Forge Vented Logs

The Charleston forge vented logs are a faithful reproduction of real wood burning logs.

The Charleston Forge Vented Log features gorgeous looking flames along with providing heat to the room. This is a gas log which does not require a vent so none of the heat produced is lost up the chimney. It comes with a variable control that allows you to adjust the heat output, piezo ignitor for easy fire starting, along with an ODS sensor that will shut down the logs in case low oxygen levels are detected to maintain the safety of its users. The product is a faithful replica of real logs with deep bark textures and charred areas adding to the realistic look.

Instructions

1. Shut off the gas running to the valve of the fireplace. This is usually done by a special turn key located next to the fireplace. Otherwise the gas will have to be turned off from the main by the gas company.

2. Run a pressure test on the pipes to ensure that the connection is not damaged. Install the Charleston Forge Vented Logs to the main pipe using the gas connector coming out of its back. Turn the gas back on.

3. Turn on the logs by turning the knob located on the left front side of the unit to the On position.

4. Adjust the size of the flames with the knob located on the right front side of the unit. Turning it towards the right will increase the flames and turning it towards the left will reduce them.

Tips Warnings

Unless you possess the right tools and technical knowledge, find a professional installer in order to avoid injuries or accidents.
